That was a rather unspectacular ending. Gone, just like that? In the end, the Zohar didn't affect anything... Though at least the Gnosis threat is over.



I don't know why, but I've been pondering. Nigredo used to be here, or so Rubedo told me. He was here before I came here... and he left again. I wonder if there is a rule that says only one of us can be here. After all, what would two executioners be good for? There only needs to be one to fulfill the duty. And worse, in a place like this, our duty doesn't even mean a thing.

Things have been changing, little by little. I have been changing. I no longer... follow orders the way I did. There was never a need for existential questions. But now... I'm wondering if I'm even still "me". And it's such a foolish thought to have.

That song coming from the temple is having a strange effect on me. But it's not... really a bad one, I suppose.



Graham hasn't been very loud lately. It almost seems like a reason to worry.
